1. introduction

this privacy policy describes how nomp ("we," "us," "our," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the nomp application on iOS.

nomp is provided by Wise Eyes, a Swiss sole trader company.

2. information we collect

when you use nomp, we collect the following information:

• email address: used to create and maintain your account, and to contact you regarding account security or service updates if necessary.
• username: used to identify you within the app and to your accountability partners.

we do not collect your real name, phone number, location data, or any information from your device's contacts, calendar, photos, or other sensitive data.

3. what we don't collect

nomp does not collect, access, or store information about what you do on your device. we do not track which apps you use, how long you spend in each app, what you view, or any other activity data.

the only device data we process is related to your device usage — specifically, when your device is unlocked and how long you remain active during a commit cycle. we use this data solely to determine whether your commits succeed or fail. you can view the outcome of your commits (successful or unsuccessful) on your "you" screen, but we do not expose the underlying device data to you.

4. how we use your information

we use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• to create and manage your nomp account
• to enable the core functionality of the app
• to provide customer support
• to improve the app through analytics (see section 5 below)
• to comply with legal obligations

5. third-party services

nomp uses Google Firebase for analytics and app performance monitoring. firebase may collect information about how you use the app, including app crashes, performance data, and usage patterns. firebase is owned and operated by Google LLC. you can review google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

we do not share your email address or username with firebase or any other third parties beyond what is necessary for app operation and analytics.

6. data storage and security

your data is stored on our secure servers. we implement reasonable security measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. however, no security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. data retention

we retain your email address and username for as long as your account is active. if you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

raw commit activity data (device unlock and active duration) is retained on our servers for 30 days, then automatically deleted.

analytics data from firebase may be retained separately according to google's retention policies.

8. your rights

you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• request correction of inaccurate data
• request deletion of your account and associated data
• withdraw consent for processing (where applicable)

9. age

nomp is intended for users aged 13 and above. if we discover that we have collected information from a user under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

10. changes to this privacy policy

we may update this privacy policy from time to time. we will notify you of any changes by posting the revised policy within the app and updating the "last updated" date above. your continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated privacy policy.
